Mission and Outreach

It is our aim to reach out to people in the local area and further afield.

We want all our visitors to feel welcome as members of our congregation and to share in our Christian fellowship. We have produced a number of leaflets explaining who we are  as well as information about the Church and these are readily available in Church.

We have plans to remodel the back of church to give us a more usable space for welcoming friends and visitors and for young children.

We welcome visitors from all over the world throughout the year. We hope they enjoy worshipping with us as much as we enjoy getting to know them.

This is when Sister Katerina and her pupils from La Bottega d'europa School in Rome came to join us.

Throught the year the congregation at St John's support fundraising events both locally and nationally eg Christian Aid Week and the Bishop's Lent Appeal. In 2017, we made a donation of £200 to Highland Crisis Accommodation in Inverness.

We also support Dr Sarah Pickworth, both financially and through prayer.

Sarah is a member of our congregation who for the last few years has been doing the Lord's work overseas. She has served with different organisationsand on  different mission programmes. Sarah sends us regular updates of her valuable work. Her ministry has been mainly in Central Asia. Here are a few of the people she has helped.
